Sweet Grass Braid
Smudging with a Sweet Grass braid is a Native American tradition. Once a braid is lit, the smoke is ‘washed’ over the person or object with a feather or by fanning the smoke with one’s hand. The smoke is used to bless the person or object being smudged.
